SKK Migas Visits EMP Bentu Limited in Pelalawan, Praises Operational Efficiency

SKK Migas Visits EMP Bentu Limited in Pelalawan, Praises Operational Efficiency

PELALAWAN, Tabloid Diksi - The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) conducted a field visit to EMP Bentu Limited in Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province on Thursday, May 4th, 2023. SKK Migas praised EMP Bentu Limited for applying efficiency principles in its operations.

This was conveyed by the Deputy Head of SKK Migas, Nanang Abdul Manaf, during his remarks after hearing presentations on production achievements, lifting, and the 2023 work program from each of the business unit leaders of Energi Mega Persada (EMP).

"The own use gas (gas used for production) by the company is very small so that the gas production sold can be more maximal. The efficiency principle is truly applied by EMP Bentu Limited," he said.

SKK Migas also expressed appreciation to all EMP business units that have applied strict work safety principles. Nanang stated that if the company has implemented HSSE (health, safety, security, and environment) well, "then there is no reason for the company to pursue production targets by ignoring work safety."

The activity was also attended by several SKK Migas management such as Kadiv Drilling and Well Sumuran Surya Widyantoro, Head of Sumbagut Representative Rikky Rahmat Firdaus, Senior Manager of OSPE Cepi Irwan, Senior Manager of GnG Engineering Mohammad Kusuma, and several SKK Migas staff.

Meanwhile, EMP was attended by GM EMP Bentu Limited, Tri Firmanto, GM EMP Tunas Energi Herman Dahlina, GM EMP Tonga Nita Apriyani, GM EMP Gebang Resha Ramadian, GM PT Imbang Tata Alam Kelik Rudi Surya, VP HCS & GPA Ranendra, VP SHE Sutedja Edi Saputra, Area Manager of EMP Bentu Limited Yoyok S Purwanto and several EMP staff.

After the discussion and Q&A, SKK Migas and EMP Group management conducted a tree planting activity in the Lubuk Ogong Base Camp area. They then proceeded to review the exploration well drilling location of North Napuh 01 in Penarikan Village, Langgam District, Pelalawan Regency.

The General Manager of EMP Bentu Limited, Tri Firmanto, representing all EMP Group business units, expressed gratitude for SKK Migas' visit. EMP Group, according to Tri Firmanto, will make every effort to search for and produce oil and gas to achieve oil production targets of 1 million barrels per day and gas of 12 BSCFD by 2030.**
